• Those in attendance introduced themselves and Doris did a brief introduction on the work done thus far with the Prescription Drug Abuse Forum and where we are to date: VA Hospital has agreed to provide CME's and the Hanley Center has Agreed to provide CEU's. Attendees were also updated on the availability of speakers from Purdue Pharma.

 

• Group discussed some of the goals of the PDAF: to publicize the work done by the coalition thus far, including the CAT and CRAT reports, to engage more people in the coalition process, to prevent substance abuse, to highlight the successes of local treatment providers, to further educate the public on the dangers of prescription drug abuse, etc.
